The surprise of natural light and the juxtaposition of form, sometimes takes one's breath away. Atmospheric conditions play a large part in the resulting photographic  image. Victoria Finlay wrote a wonderful book called: Colour: Travels Through the Paintbox, and in it she has stated that the colour of heaven, according to scientists, is a soft, aqua. It is said by others that there are seven heavens - I wonder how the remaining six are viewed by the scientific eye - or are they only revealed to the spirit and the soul?

What is mind? No matter. What is matter? Never mind. What is the soul? It is immaterial. Thomas hood

As a Mind and Soul artist, Marg's art-related journey remains a continuum involving  reflections which include: spirituality, spatial concepts, visible light spectrum, harmony, the use of negative space in art, design, detail versus depth, colour, balance, linear composition, and soul energy.

She has attempted to translate the ideas evolving from these reflections into unique, vibrant, and sometimes questing, images and objects: through paint, collage, photos, prints, sculpture, clay modelling, and mixed media.

Towards the end of 2001 Marg reconnected to her passion by completing unique images and objects with: paint, perspex, slate, clay, mixed media and photography. This resulted in: her first large sculpture was a Finalist in the 2001 Blake Prize for Religious Art in Sydney; selling her first large oil at The Alice Springs Art Prize in 2003; two large solo exhibitions in 2006/7 and two group exhibitions in 2oo6 and 2008. Her artworks, including unframed prints and unique cards, are displayed for sale in various galleries.
